You need

Poster colours,

A big plate to mix colour,

Thick drawing sheets and

A drawing pencil.
 

Mix thick paint on a plate to get good prints. Dip the child’s hand in the paint and press it on the drawing sheet.

Birds – A Pigeon : -

Mix light grey colour on the plate.

Dip the child’s hand in the paint and press the hand on the drawing sheet; four fingers (pointer to small finger) together and the thumb as far away as possible.

It is a pigeon.

After the paint is dry, paint the beak and the eye.
 
Use green colour then it is a parrot. You can make duck, swan for that matter any bird.  
 
Print a peacock :-

Draw a big peacock on the drawing sheet.

Mix the necessary colour for the feather.

Instruct the child to have his fingers together thumb close to the pointer.

Let the child dip his hand in the paint and press all over the feather.

Mostly, the middle of the palm’s impression won’t come. Paint that hollow space the eye of the feather.

Paint the body and legs.
